I visited Fountains Day Spa once, and had a great, relaxing experience. After my infant daughter was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas last year, my husband thought a spa day would be a perfect gift and purchased a spa day gift certificate for me. I emailed to check their availability, and asked what their cancellation policy was, given she may need chemotherapy in the coming weeks, potentially with little notice. The response below was internal communication that wasn’t meant to see, but was accidentally left on the email thread. Tee is a hurtful, callous person to respond in such a manner, especially given all I did was ask what their policy was, and at no point asked for any special treatment. Tee has made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable to even step foot in that place again. My infant daughter’s cancer is, and always will be more important than a spa service, especially when the practitioner is disgustingly inconsiderate and thoughtless. 0/10. Rude, hurtful, inconsiderate and insensitive employee named Tee. Hope he never has a baby with cancer, and if he does, that his community is far kinder to him than he is to others.

Marcia was very professional! The massage was done at a very high skill level and as a former athlete, I really appreciate the time she took to understand my needs and how to best rejuvenate my muscles and overall a very good experience from booking my appointment to location and setup of massage therapy room.

Wonderful place! Clean spa and friendly staff. My husband and I got massages. My masseuse was Lauretta, one of my top 3 best massages and I am spoiled and get massages all the time. I will definitely be back here next time i’m in Alexandria. Thank you Fountains for getting us an appointment same day! You made our day!

All around a wonderful experience getting a facial here! My skin is absolutely snatched with the micro-current facial. So much so that my partner noticed. I’ll be back!

I love this place! It's such a cute vibe (relaxing townhome in old town) and the massage therapists are amazing. I have knots for days and Marcia worked them out - already looking forward to my next visit. Definitely recommend!

Loved Fountains and the staff. I’ve been twice now and have my third appointment already on the books. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because there is no locker or something of the sorts to put my purse in when there but they do their best to accommodate you which is much appreciated. It is clean, smells amazing in there, and is a very calming environment. I have only great things to say about all their staff especially Marcia and Sue who are the ladies I had my massage and facial with. It is right near a couple of great food (Mae’s is my favorite) spots as well. You should check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
