Here's your review below: Every time I come here I have a great experience. This most recent experience was a transformation haircut. I needed to take a little more off than usual 😁 and I was matched with @mstar618 (on IG) to get my cut. We had positive vibes; they understood what was needed. I love that the facials and hand massages are back in service now. The hot towel treatments, scalp massages, and essential oils are life-giving. All the stylists are super supportive and do excellent work.

I went to the salon for three years and loved my stylist, Lauren. I have short hair and it’s very thick and it’s not easy to cut and she did a beautiful job. When Lauren left to pursue her degree, The salon told me they had someone for me who would continue to do a great job, and that was not the case. I had a nervous unconfident person who was so sweet, but had no idea what she was doing with scissors, and my hair used to be a showstopper and became a nightmare. I tried to give her several chances, and finally after a bit of an issue at the salon last week, she admitted that she told the salon manager she was not comfortable cutting short hair. This place is awful. I’ve had another friend who had her eyebrows burned off. They seem to have very high chair turnover. I do not recommend.

First, I want to say my stylist, Meagan is great. My issue is not with her at all. I had been coming to the salon for years to get my hair colored, cut, styled so needless to say I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this business. I recently had a professional change which causes me to make less money than I use to. I was working the day I realized I wasn’t going to be able to pay for the $350 service I had scheduled and called to cancel as soon as I got off work (around 6:45 pm on a Saturday). John, the owner, proceeded to text me after 9pm and include another number in the chat I did not know and told me I would be paying for the service per policy, as I didn’t cancel in 48 hours (I missed the 48 hour window by 5 hours because I was working). I told him I couldn’t pay for the service and did my best to meet the 48 hour deadline and perhaps I should find a more accommodating salon. I’m so many words he suggested I find a new salon in my desired price point. As another reviewer wrote, this is no celebrity salon in LA. You’re in the Midwest, John. Have some compassion and understanding.

Tiffany and Laura were my absolute favorites! Great haircuts and always gave mini head massages during the shampoo! Wonderful stylists who knew how to deal with the craziness that is my hair! The salon was always booked pretty far in advance but probably because they offer such great service! The smiling faces of all the staff, willingness to accommodate, and patience with my hair needs made this place the perfect haircut place. Sad to have moved out of the city but even then the staff helped me locate a similar salon in my new city! Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Ethos!! Carrie gave me such professional and personal attention. She has magic hands and my complimentary head and shoulder massage was perfect. I closed my eyes and relaxed away. The haircut was exactly what we talked about and she made sure I was pleased. I'm very pleased and trust Carrie to take the best care of me. Tiffany is by far the best professional stylist I have ever been to! She has been doing my hair for years and my hair has turned out perfect and beautiful every time! I have never had such an amazing experience at any other salon. I highly recommend this salon and highly recommend Tiffany as your stylist. She is very professional and experienced and is also so much fun!

I had an appointment with Mary this morning that was absolutely incredible! Especially compared to a different Aveda that I went to in the city that was very invasive with hand sanitizer when I walked in the door. Not at this salon!! They were all so welcoming and kind. Not only did Mary do the PERFECT haircut for me, but she is so easy to get along with and thorough with the true aveda experience. She deserves a raise! :) I feel like a million bucks and my husband said I look like a billion. 🥳 Thanks Mary! I’ll be back!

I have gotten both botox and my lips done with Aeron. He has been so amazing to work with for the last 3 years. I've tried many people around the St. Louis area, and Aeron definitely tops them all. He is extremely knowledgeable, never in a rush, and very personable. Such a great experience every time!
