Escape On Third Salon

Maria Cruz literally never ceases to amaze me. I’ve been coming to her for over a year now and have since followed her to Escape on Third Salon. I’ve since moved away and still travel to come see Maria. Prior to seeing Maria, my hair was damaged and not doing great. She managed to get the exact color I needed and restored a lot of my hairs health. It’s exactly everything I needed and I knew for sure I was getting the best when coming to see her. She’s absolutely amazing and her skill set is beyond comprehensible. I’ll always travel back to come see her because nobody does it like Maria does!

How incredibly disappointing from a customer service aspect. I live in Ct and my cousin lives in Bismarck. This year my cousin blessed me with the sweetest job in life for—to be her maid of honor. So so excited! When discussing her hair and makeup, I asked to be take over the responsibility since I have 20 years experience in the industry and would happily research and find the best place. After consulting with a distant cousin—she highly suggested this salon to take care of hair and makeup for the bride and bridal party. So in between my busy life 1600 miles away I made time to call and ask for pricing and then ask to lock in for a contact—offering to pay a deposit immediately. Being so far away and having a terminally ill parent doesn’t afford a lot of time to waste. I was told by the lovely person who answered the phone that they would happily have us and the “day receptionist” would send me over a contract. I was told several times that the contract was sent over and spent 3 days chasing this salon to send the contract—to be told it was sent and then magically “a contract has just come in for that date-sorry” the contract was never sent to me and essentially an entire week of researching and trying to lock in dates for hair and makeup was wasted. If you’re a bridal party—run. They will waste your time! Also—here’s a tip for your customer service team—under promise + over deliver. I would never treat a potential guest this way! Sure, I don’t live in ND so it’s “not a big deal” but it is…you wasted my time for an entire week and then suggested I reach out to salons who don’t even do bridal services!

I’m a Mom & Grandma and I was ready for a refresh for summer. My hair stylist Abbey is knowledgeable in all the things when it comes to a good refresh. She listened to what I wanted and it turned out beautiful. She gives the BEST head/scalp massages when she’s got your head in the wash bowl, so relaxing. She’s also good at waxing my eyebrows at the same time. Her salon suite was decorated so adorable and there were nice big windows with natural light. I’d highly recommend making your next appointment with her.

Mariah does an amazing job with extensions! I also got my hair colored to match the extensions and they look amazing. Definitely a great girl for hair coloring and extensions! She is also very nice and welcoming and always makes time for me 😊

just want to say Maria Cruz is Amazing she has been doing my hair since she worked at JP. I just had to follow her to Escape on 3rd because she is that great, she definitely knows what she’s doing. she is so amazing I got my mom and two sisters to get there hair done by her.

I’ve been seeing Mariah for well over a year now, I initially started getting services from her when she was still a student and then followed her to Escape on Third. Every service i have received from her has been extremely high quality including waxing, blow outs, and hair cuts. She takes the time to learn about your hair and makes a game plan to help you reach your specific hair goals. My hair and scalp have never felt healthier! She provides me with a beautiful and unique undercut design every month and keeps my bangs and brows in tip top shape. I recommend her to all my friends. If you’re looking for someone to book with Mariah should be your top choice!
