This hotel has no reason to be as nice as it is, I’ve stayed here for a week and everything has been excellent. The people working are amazing and helpful, checkout is much more convenient that other hotels, breakfast is great, the pool and gym area are unexpectedly nice, and my room has been lovely. I’ll definitely only stay here on future trips to Fargo. Thank you to all the employees that made my stay so amazing!

Our company puts us up at this hotel. It's cute but cheaply built. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything. Even though they recently renovated the property, I can't really tell because something is always broken or not working right. It's very hard to get the A/C right. It's either too cold or too hot. The last room I had, the white shade chain, was so stiff and hard that I had to climb on the table and wear gloves to get it to roll down. The phone in my room didn't work.

The location is very convenient close to a lot of things. I love that there was a sauna, jeecuzy and pool. The room is decent size, and it looks like a studio apartment with a kitchen. One thing I noticed was that the cleaning crew doesn't vacuum the floor. Everything is a nice hotel to stay in.

The Element was all around a fantastic place to stay. We stayed for four nights and were treated very well. The hotel is very clean, quiet (exception noted below), and in a great location. The breakfast crew were great - friendly, efficient, and kept things very clean. Only one minor issue - not the hotel’s fault - but an inconsiderate youth hockey team staying at the hotel thought it would be ok to set off a several minute long fireworks show - between midnight and 1am. These were huge fireworks, not firecrackers, that woke lots of guests. When speaking to the front desk staff they handled it quickly after numerous complaints from guests. We loved our stay here and will stay here again when our travels bring us this way!

I go out of my way to stay here whenever I am in Fargo. This hotel is extremely modern and clean, the rooms are a great size and it’s location is amazing. The staff is also wonderful! Stay here if you can!

Upon check-in the receptionist gave me key and I noticed it was on the first floor and asked about an upper floor and that it was also stated on my profile...after some struggle she was able to find one on the 3rd.....she said that it would have helped had I called or messaged earlier in the day to request. What's the point of having a room preference on Marriott site if hotel is going to ignore (also my Titanium status didn't seem to help either). The negative review was mainly based on hotel room itself as I am a light sleeper. When this property was built they decided to go cheap and not do concrete sub-flooring and you can hear every step from person above my room. The walls were fairly thin as can hear conversations next door. Doors of rooms are very heavy and you will hear those around you if they let their door slam behind them. Also, plan your showers accordingly, as the water is sooo soft no matter how much scrubbing you do you WILL NOT get the soap off of you (soft water may be ok for some). If I was ever 'forced' to stay here again I would book a suite and only if I could get 4th floor.

All I have to say is WOW!! I can't believe this is my first time staying at the Element. I'm definitely going to be staying here again. The front desk is extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious modern and clean. The pool, hot tub and YES, a sauna was such a nice surprise. Definitely a step higher than most of the hotels in the area. The breakfast was delicious, probably one of the better continental breakfasts I've had at a hotel. They also have a outdoor courtyard with couches and chairs and a fireplace. I think I found my favorite place in Fargo!!
