The hotel Eldorado is spacious and beautiful!! I accompanied my husband to a conference here. The rooms are large . Ours opened out on a terrace which provided easy access to the pool and hot tub. It’s very quiet and very easy to get good sleep. The housekeepers left our room immaculate every day. This place is super nice!!!

My partner and I recently stayed at the Eldorado for one night after our usual hotel, the Rosewood, was fully booked. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. We booked a junior suite based on the photos provided online, which depicted a spacious room with couches and decent square footage. However, upon arrival, we found ourselves in a small, outdated room with peeling wallpaper. When we raised our concerns with the front desk, we were informed that the online photos were “outdated” and had not been updated, and that none of their junior suites actually include couches. This was extremely misleading and something we wish we had known before booking. To their credit, the staff moved us to a suite. However, the new room had NO heating. Despite being promised TWO space heaters, we waited five hours to receive just one—only after following up multiple times. For a Heritage property, this level of service and upkeep was shocking. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with no desire to return to the Eldorado, and we will definitely think twice before booking with Heritage Hotels in the future.

Hands down, the best customer service, friendly, polite, and down to Earth. Paul helped us a couple of times with luggage and directions. We really enjoyed a small talk, but he made sure we were taking care of. This is what we value the most with stay! He solely earned a 5-star review from us. The hotel is on a walking distance from the Plaza, clean, beautifully decorated. The room is safe and quiet , promising good night rest. Restaurant was worth visiting for breakfast, and complementary coffee was tasty. We will be back!

Beautiful hotel, close to the convention center and other downtown activities. I was able to walk everywhere i wanted to go. Staff was nice and helpful especially to a man who landed at 230 in the morning. I had a balcony room and it was great, huge balcony. Room was clean and quiet not much more I can ask for.

I received a warm welcome at the reception desk. My standard king room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and I liked the pillows. The downtown location was close to two of my favorite places to eat when I am in town. I definitely would stay here again.

The ‘resort’ area had little to no lights so it was a hazard to use the hot tub. Additionally, the hot tub water so hot it almost burnt our skin. I can’t believe I wasted $230 on this room. I enjoyed the texts welcoming us and asking us if we needed anything, but there are some things described above that are unacceptable to me. We will return to Santa Fe and stay elsewhere.

Great location with a nice lobby. VERY dated rooms with old furniture. CAN’T control room temperature…the rooms are super hot. Check in was delayed by an hour and a half due to lack of staff to clean rooms. During our stay, room cleaning was non existent, one has to go to the front desk and let them know whether room was serviced or not. In room safe does not work. We had two rooms and the experience was consistent with both. For a hotel that claims to be pet friendly, there are zero small pet relief areas. There seems to be a management problem overall. At almost $500 per night after taxes and fees, this hotel does not meet average expectations.

Checked in for our anniversary and the staff were very professional. Valet were amazing and helpful, the valet has been there over 10 years and man he was full of useful information. The rooms were very southwestern, very comfortable. The fire place was very romantic, so was the balcony. The king size bed was very comfortable and so were the robes. Having two bathrooms was a plus. The restaurants were well worth a visit. The entire property was clean peaceful and safe. We will be back
