Went for a pedicure. Reservation system was easy. Hadn’t been to EarthSavers in many years. The front of the store is cluttered with merchandise. They need to Marie Kondo it a bit. Not relaxing. I checked in and was ushered behind the curtain to wait for my nail tech. There was lemon water and tea on offer and I had time to partake of both. There was some not relaxing chatter among staff. The bit about how Uptown is better than Metairie only succeeded in making me dislike both locations. And we could hear them while the pedicure went on, kinda loud, and not relaxing. The pedicure itself was fine, typical, 35 minutes, nothing special. $60 plus tip. The massage chair was nice and even had a heat setting. It’ll probably be years before I return, unless someone gives me a gift card.

Love relaxing in here. Smells so amazing. Whitney is a dream. Very professional, smart knows her stuff & not pushy about products or services. She gives great information which makes me want to do more services.

I came into town for the holidays and got a deep tissue massage with Shannon. She was AMAZING!!! Back pain has disappeared. I’ve always loved this spa before I moved! Service is always great and the team is always so educated and helpful! Always a must when I’m here!

I’ve never posted a negative rating or comment for an establishment before, but my experience at Earthsavers will make my first! My experience here was honestly just really bad. I was recommended to Earthsavers by a coworker, but it turned out to be a big let down. I booked a 50 minute deep tissue massage. I told my massage therapist to focus on my back and neck and she proceeded to do my entire body including my face which I wasn’t aware that she would be touching my face. Might I add deep tissue was no where in the room with us. My massage therapist WAS kind but I felt that she was inexperienced because even with me asking for her to focus on specific areas I felt that she went with a textbook massage. After the massage she had water for me which I later discovered was water with lemon and lime and I’m allergic to citrus. Interesting how I didn’t have to fill out any paperwork beforehand like I have in every other massage setting. The massage was more like 35- 40 minutes rather than a full 50 minutes and after the massage no one asked me what I thought about the experience, but the lady before me got to have a nice little chat about her experience! They did send me a text after I paid and was out the door to book my next appointment!! Ironic! Can’t help but think why I didn’t get a chat? Age, Race… Guess we will never know!!

I have been going to earthsavers for years but I will never go back after my last visit. I arrived for my appointment time for a pedicure and waited for about 30 mins before I finally went to ask when I would be seen. It wasn’t until then that they realized their nail tech did not come to work without notice. I was understanding it was out of their control and they assured me they would make it right. The front desk lady said she would call me to reschedule my appointment for the next morning (Friday) since my event was Friday evening. She called me later and said I have an appointment for the morning. It wasn’t until later that I realized my appt confirmation said Saturday morning. I called back and the woman that answered gave me an attitude when I said the appt was supposed to be for Friday morning after the nail tech did not show up on Thursday. She told me that they book at least a week in advance so I should’ve gotten an appointment before. This was after explaining to her that my appt (that was booked 2 weeks prior) was cancelled by them because their employee did not show up. This situation was handled poorly and nothing else was done to fix the situation. This place is poorly managed and I will never return.

This place is phenomenal!!! The atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming. This was my first time coming to a spa and Reannon was extraordinary!!! She provided me with guidance and insight on what to expect. As well as listened to my needs. She is truly the standard I expect from all my future massages. What an experience 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾. I truly feel good

So disappointed. I had a gel manicure and pedicure this past Friday. Started to chip Tuesday and today gel is lifting away from nails. Things at the salon were not clean - nippers and files used on my hands had dead skin on them before they were used on me. When asked to wash my hands without soap, the towel expected to use to dry was wet - it was not fresh and had been used multiple times. Massage of hands, wrists and arms was less than 2 minutes - know this because awful music playing was still on same song when she had finished. Staff at appointment desk was loud. Kept turning my head in response to the distracting chatter and noise. Manicure took 20 minutes tops. Pedicure - complete disaster- nails cut way too short and hurt - both of my big toes still hurt and are red and puffy. I have been putting Neosporin on them. Neither service was any where close to being relaxing or feeling like being pampered. Total processes took 70 minutes. Website touts pedicure alone to be 50 - 60 minutes. So rushed! Both services cost $125.00, plus I gave a 30.00 tip. Equates to 7.75 per digit! You This was a one and only experience. I am so disappointed, because I thought this was an upscale spa and expected upscale, relaxing services. Will not be back.

I am physically disabled and walk with leg braces and crutches. I have a significant amount of pain at baseline, but this week my pain has been much worse, distractingly severe. This morning at work I got online to book a massage at Earthsavers in Metairie. When I arrived I was told that most of the massage rooms are upstairs and the few rooms downstairs are not available. Their first response was “we can help you up the stairs”. I said “no. I am not doing that and should not have to do that”. Their next response was “you have to let us know ahead of time to be scheduled downstairs”. First, nowhere on their website did it say anything about accessibility. How would anyone know this? Second, that means because of my disability I have to call in advance to schedule. Able-bodied individuals have the luxury of booking a same-day massage online, but I’m not entitled to the same luxury simply because of my disability. Pretty messed up, right? In 2023 I should not have to call and verify accessibility for every business I visit. My disability should not take away my ability to book a same-day massage. I am absolutely disgusted at this business and their lack of accessibility as well as their carelessness towards people with disabilities. I beg y’all to avoid giving your business to this discriminatory establishment. Aside from appalled, I’m also devastated because I was really looking forward to an ounce of pain relief after a hard week working as a physician in the hospital. I burst into tears the second I got back in my car after walking out of earthsavers. Please boycott this antiquated and inequitable business and instead spend your money at businesses that cater to EVERYONE, regardless of disability. After all, that’s the law. Check out the hypocritical saying on the wall in earthsavers. Can’t even live up to the dumb wall art. Aside from appalled it truly saddens me. I feel excluded and like a second class citizen, not able to access the same luxuries as everyone else. 25% of the world is disabled. Disability is the only minority group that any person can become part of at any point in their life. Let's hope none of these people ever have to feel the way I felt today walking out of earthsavers without the massage I so desperately need. UPDATE: In response to the business owner’s very scripted response: having ADA compliant rooms is only helpful if I have access to them when I book a same day massage online like everyone else. But that’s not how it works at your establishment. I would have had to know that I needed to call ahead and schedule in advance in order to have access to these rooms. First how would I know that? But even if I did know that - that is still NOT EQUITABLE TREATMENT. I have every right to be able to book a same day massage online LIKE EVERY ABLE-BODIED CUSTOMER. That’s the problem you’re ignoring and failing to acknowledge. I walked out of your business feeling humiliated, worthless, and still in a great deal of pain thanks to y’all, and it’s UNACCEPTABLE. Hope those able-bodied customers enjoyed the spacious ADA rooms.
