Unfortunately, I had higher expectations. I don’t think I had a good experience. When I booked online I chose to do my nails with “Julia”, but when I arrived it was someone else and they said it’s random, it’s not who you book with! Then it took 2 hours and half to do a builder gel manicure, and as you can see neither the shape nor the french tips are done well… but after 2 hours and a half I just wanted to finish although I explained that the shape is not done well. Lastly, online it says 50$ for gel manicure -and I’m not an expert in gel naming- when I wanted to pay they said it’s 90$+10$ french… they were nice enough to acknowledge that the website is misleading and charge 60$ instead of the 100$. The staff were very nice.

I got dip nails done at another salon a few days before my wedding, only to be told they didn’t do designs on top of dip nails?? So I frantically called other nail salons in the city and duo was the only one that affirmatively said they could do gel designs on my dip nails, and also squeezed me in the next morning. I am so glad I found this place!!! Julia did my wedding nails - I didn’t really know what I wanted but I showed her a few pics and we landed on this design together. It’s been two weeks and they’re still going strong!! (Only lost 2 pearls which is way less than I expected!) Also I went back near to get a hair spa treatment, forgot exactly what it was called but I mentioned i had more hair falling out than usual and they recommended this. It was one of the most relaxing things I did in my life (fully supine massage chair) and my hair felt so healthy afterwards!!!

Wow, this place is incredible! The level of detail in our headspa service truly impressed me, and every penny was worth the experience. I've been to other headspa places before, but this one felt much more luxurious. From the comfortable massage chair during the scalp treatment to the thorough scalp analysis, everything was exceptional. I highly recommend asking for Pang, who did my service—she didn’t just lightly massage my scalp, but gave an amazing, thorough treatment. I’ll definitely be coming back and letting others know just how amazing these services are!

Annabel at Duo head spa was so thorough, calming, and sweet. The entire team at the salon was incredibly kind and professional and the space was very relaxing. Can’t recommend the scalp massage enough but do recommend not wearing a turtleneck and opting in for a blow out if you want your hair to feel “done”

Decided to treat myself for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The facility was clean and relaxing, and the staff were friendly. I got a basic pedicure which was lovely - the products they used smelled really nice. Then, I got the restore scalp treatment and it was AMAZING. I've never felt so relaxed before, even after a full body massage, and my hair has never felt softer and it was also so shiny. All of the products used smelled amazing and were very calming. I'll definitely be back!

I brought my best friend for a relaxing spa day (head spa). Everything started off good, very informative with the camera showing scalp condition before. We were so excited and then the actual service began. The massage beds were very uncomfortable where they actually hurt a bit we had those shut off. As far as the service of the scalp treatment the steamer was SUPER hot. The overall process sounds like a relaxing dream but honestly was more ready to get up than relaxed. We could have caught these ladies on a bad day but for almost $200 a piece I expected to be way more relaxed rather than rushed.

I’ve been wanting to try the head spa for a couple of years and glad to see Michigan finally has one! I went yesterday and my experience was relaxing, welcoming and restorative. A HUGE shoutout to Eden who was so professional and personable from the time I walked in to the time I left. She was able to provide insight and expertise on my curly hair as well. I for sure will be going back!

True nail artistry and attention to detail 💅🏼 Julia is amazing, creative and I always leave feeling great! I recommend the builder gel and it will leave your nails stronger. They don’t use toxic chemicals- great experience
