I recently had an 80-minute stress reliever massage with CBD from Desiree and it was exceptional. Dealing with chronic musculoskeletal issues and autoimmune inflammation, I often find massages don't quite hit the mark. However, Desiree was fantastic. She took the time to listen to my concerns, asked about my preferred pressure, and clearly knew what she was doing. The way she worked on my problem areas was incredibly effective. Having received massages for over 25 years, I can confidently say this was one of the top 3 I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Desiree and will definitely be booking with her again!

If you have curly hair or I guess my hair with texture I don't recommend this place. I have very think long curly hair so it takes longer to do my hair. However I expect a place that charges $90 for a basic cut, wash and blowdry to be able to accommodate and take the time on peoples hair. I came in for a 10am appointment for a haircut and blowdry. At 11, the stylist had another appointment. She was rushing through my hair and was pulling and blowdrying my hair so roughly and I left with so many split ends that my husband wondered if I even got a haircut. It was disappointing and extremely upsetting since this was the first time I've had a chance to do my hair in months. My husband's barber appointments are longer than this place.
The girls were nice but I'm still upset on how rushed my hair was and how it came out. I will only recommend Kim who did my eyebrows they came out lovely.

My first experience here was wonderful, full body massage with Yesenia. My second experience was not as great unfortunately, for a couple reasons. I specifically asked to focus on certain areas, they were ignored, I was also in pain in some areas which shouldn’t have been painful. I will not say her name since that’s not why I go or why I’m reviewing but I was definitely disappointed with this experience. I will however go back and give someone else a try. Beautiful spa and great location.

I went to Depasquale for highlights all throughout high school and remembered it being the best salon in the area (this was 15+ years ago). I went there again end of July this year to get highlights done before a trip, and I showed the stylist (level 1/2) my platinum blonde hair that I’ve had in the past and she recommended highlights/toner and a root budge to achieve this. Once complete I ended up with a lot of warmth (think: orange/copper color) in between my natural dark root and the highlight (which looked like almost an inch of growth even thought I had just done my highlights), basically giving a reverse ombré look which looked muddy and cheap. Not only was this not at all what I asked for (based on the photos shared and my explanation to her), it was actually more of an issue because now this additional orange color was added to my hair and I knew right away this would be difficult to remove.
The managers were very nice about scheduling an appointment free of charge to fix the color (even when I needed to wait a month to do so) and they set me up with one of their best stylists who is a level 5. This new stylist said the original mistake was the root budge because it added the orange/warm color to the hair. She goes through and does another highlight to try and cover up the warmth. The blonde color overall was ok (more yellow than platinum but overall it was livable) but to my surprise there were very aggressive foil lines all along my roots (to the point where I couldn’t adjust my hair part at all without seeing the lines, they were everywhere). Additionally, she focused mostly on top of my head and a little bit of the middle so I ended up with a very blonde color at the top/sides and then the back/ends looked golden/copper and just much darker (so again with another strange reverse ombré look but now with foil lines along my roots throughout the head).
I tried my best to deal with it but decided to go back in again showing them how objectively bad it looked. They kindly agreed again to put me with another stylist (level 3) but emphasized that this would be the last time they would allow a fix free of charge (as if I am enjoying this process?). She did a good job fixing the ends to be blonder to match the top and she put in a toner/gloss to fix the foil lines (which she also agreed were an issue and said it had to do with technique) but unfortunately I am back to the original issue of having that orange/brown color between my natural root and the highlight, except for some reason it’s even worse now and looks like I haven’t gotten my roots done in months.
In pretty much all cases the stylists/managers tried to downplay it by saying it’s the lighting or that it will eventually look better after a few washes. However, I expect to walk out of a salon with hair that looks good in any lighting (natural outdoor lighting/indoor office lighting/etc) so it felt like they were gaslighting me by trying to convince me something looked ok when it just did not. Even after 3 visits (the original one plus 2 fixes) the issue has not been resolved so I will have to walk around with this botched orange hair color on my roots and will have to wait months for it to hopefully fade before I can find another salon to fix it. I also have to part my hair on the other side of my head (which is annoying because it isn’t where my hair naturally parts) to try to mask it.
All that being said, I don’t recommend this salon for blonde highlights, especially for those who have a dark base but want an ashy blonde look that blends well into your natural color. This is a skill that I assumed any stylist at Depasquale should have (and they did in the past) but it seems their quality has gone downhill. Given that bleach is something you shouldn’t have done often (to avoid overprocessing), I wouldn’t recommend taking the risk here.

I have been going to DePasquale The Spa for two years now and their Barbers are amazing. Both Kellie and Alex do a fantastic job and I can’t wait to go back. You need to try this place for the best barber experience in New Jersey! Also the owner Justin is the man.

Ari at Salon DePasquale is phenomenal! After I showed her a photo, we discussed expectations and she went right to work on my full head of highlights. Ari spent so much time and care to insure my stubborn brunette base lifted as desired. My highlights were expertly timed and then glossed to perfection! I have received so many compliments on my rich, multi-dimensional, shiny, healthy new Nordic blond hair. LOVE! Thanks Ari for your expertise (and patience)! 10/10, A++

David has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years now. Exceptional service every time, and David never fails to deliver by making sure I look presentable for all of the important events in my life. David also provides eyebrow grooming and beard trimming, which I go for every now and then.
Ambient environment, I’m impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness comparative to other barbers. Depasquale and David hold themselves to provide the highest quality of service possible.
