Zia is amazing! He did such a fantastic job with my color highlights — the tones are beautiful and blended so naturally. He really listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. The blow dry was flawless too — smooth, full of volume, and it lasted for days. I left David Rios Salon feeling so refreshed and confident. I am extremely picky and vain about my hair and when I first moved to D.C. over a dozen years ago, I tried every major hair salon in the city to find a decent cut. I am so happy I finally found Ziya who gives the absolute best haircuts you can imagine. He's also (over a few years now) turned me from a dark brunette to this beautiful blonde color, while keeping my hair healthy the entire time. If you are lucky enough to see Ziya, you will get the most efficient, perfect haircut of your life and you will find it difficult to let anyone else touch your hair.

This is my second day in a row getting an updo done with Ziya and he is absolutely incredibly phenomenally amazing! I had two balls/galas to go to and I received many compliments! He was so fast and efficient which is even better! Highly recommend him!

Everything was perfect. The stylist Chrissy paid attention to everything I said, listened and made it happen. The color came out exactly as I've always wanted. Nice natural blond, no stripes, and fit perfectly to my extensions. A beautiful blowout, with volume, good products and it came out very natural and modern. I had old extensions on. She took them off, cared for them and put them back in. Thank you!

Katty is a gem! Not only did she do an excellent job on my haircut, she also gave me tips on how to get my hair healthy again so we can achieve the style I want. She also introduced me to a color specialist for color correction. I am booked for color in December and will also be working with Katty on a Keratin treatment! Katty gave me the BEST haircut I’ve ever had in my life. I looked around for a while to find a great stylist in DC, and finally decided on Katty. She was even more amazing than I could ever ask for! Not only is she an expert at her craft, but she’s such a sweet, down-to-earth human being. She looked at a couple of my inspiration pictures, and then crafted the best haircut I’ve seriously ever had in my life. You know when you’re scared to wash your hair after getting a haircut because it just never looks at good as after the stylist works her magic? Well, for the first time ever, my hair looks amazing without doing ANY styling. It’s nuts. She must be simply magical because my hair has NEVER been able to not be styled. I think about this haircut daily because seriously it was worth every penny 💗 Thank you Katty!!!!!

Katty gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I’m very particular about my hair and have even traveled across the country to see a stylist who can deliver exceptional results, and Katty truly exceeded my expectations. The shampoo and scalp massage were incredible, leaving me completely relaxed before the haircut even began. The entire staff was friendly, and the salon had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I can’t imagine going anywhere else in D.C. for my hair!
