We had the most amazing stay at the Cliff House with our two boys (age 4 and 7). Tess and Rachel and the team went above and beyond to make our stay so special and memorable. The personalized welcome basket made out boys feel like true VIPs. There were so many fun activities for the kids to do. They absolutely loved the stuffed animal and the pickle making activities. We all truly enjoyed the pools and the seaglobe dinning. Thank you Cliff House for a magical stay.

I stayed over Friday night to see Dueling Pianos which was fantastic! The room they played in was very open with beautiful high ceilings. The property is very nice and inviting I definitely would like to come back in the summer as well to spend more time outside. I had the fish and chips at Nubb's which was done perfectly and breakfast at the Tiller restaurant. The biscuits and gravy was great with their own spin on the biscuit! Looking forward to returning!

Cliff house is a gem! The views throughout the property is stunning, their hospitality is top notch and the place is clean and cozy. They always try their best to accommodate their customers. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back again.
Emma from Tiller and Mila from the front desk is very warm and welcoming. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay here.

Incredible stay for a weekend without our young children- turns out, a lot of families stay here and it would be fun to bring them for a visit. The hotel is upscale with a family friendly vibe, there was a wedding on site when we stayed, so high energy. The guests and staff were friendly. The services at the spa surpassed our expectations- each provider took excellent care of my husband and me (highly recommend Untamed Maine and hydrafacial). Tiller served delicious dinner, room service breakfast was fresh and delicious, Nubb's drinks were perfect for happy hour hot tubbing. The hot tub was a fun scene, even in the frigid temps, everyone was polite and having a great time- like an apres ski party! We did the candle-making activity and brought candles home for our kids.

The good: Beautiful property, incredible view of the ocean that goes on forever, clean and simple but nice rooms styled appropriately with the property, and some good food options. ||The ok: despite having average rates of around $750-$1,000+ after taxes, the only coffee they offer outside of buying it at a restaurant is k-cups. Just a little weak for the price. The food prices are very high - like 5 star luxury hotel high — which while this hotel is nice, it’s not a ritz on an island. The rooms have loud hvac systems that turn on instantly if you open the door - it makes it impossible to listen to the ocean and is actually very loud — it is what it is but it takes away from the experience. And there are really only two restaurants - and if you don’t reserve well ahead of time at tiller for dinner, you won’t get a seat there despite being a guest. We’ve stayed a few times and its happened every time. Unfortunately if you don’t eat in the main restaurant, the menu is cut in half (no idea why) so you’re stuck with eating in your room on a limited menu. ||The bad: they’re just oddly not accommodating. My wife was able to get a spa appointment at the last minute for 12pm est and we called down to extend checkout from 11am to 1pm — 2 hours — so we could drop $350+ at the spa —- and a supervisor got on the phone after I requested an extension and rudely and abruptly told me we had to leave our room immediately (it was 11:15). Also, they just don’t take advantage of what they have-its the winter, and vacation for many in the northeast, and they still don’t light the fire in the main part of their building until the evening - there’s no atmosphere, no music, just kind of a dry and dull setup for what could otherwise be warm and inviting.

What a spectacular restaurant/ Hotel! The food at the Cliff House was delicious, and the view is something out of a movie. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and couldn't have asked for a better staff. The food, service and ambience are all five stars.

Just returned from a three day, two night conference at Cliff House. The location is amazing and the views of the cliffs along the Atlantic are stunning. The Hotel and grounds are beautiful and you can tell a lot of care goes into the maintenance. What really made it a wonderful stay was the staff. Everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming with genuine smiles. But the standout was our Housekeeper, Keisha. She was delightful. Thank you for everything. I look forward to a return for a personal trip with no work involved!

We spent a great weekend here. Everything was first class, staff friendly. Decor very esthetically pleasing. I wasn't sure what to expect in winter, but we were very satisfied. The hotel is immaculate. Outdoor hot tub was nice as was the firepit. We will be back.
