Bamford Wellness Spa

Loved our treatments at Bamford! We came to 1Hotel for a spa weekend and couldn't be happier with the experience. Truly felt like a luxury experience. Spa treatments were pricey but not out of the norm for Nashville. I felt like the treatments I got were worth the money. They have great locker rooms (showers, lockers, restrooms, complimentary beauty items, etc.) and a relaxing room to hang out in pre-treatment with tea, water, and light snacks. The staff was wonderful and attentive. As locals we appreciated the beautiful spa design and commitment to sustainability. The hang out room has a patio with a great view - was closed when I went in the winter.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I live in Nashville and have been to multiple hotel spas and this one was such a bad experience and UNSAFE! I’ve been to the 1 south beach and their spa was so much more elevated so I don’t know how this spa went to wrong. First I’ll emphasize the safety aspect of my massage. 1. The way the masseuse was pulling my neck caused pain and was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. 2. She pressed into my kidneys repeatedly until I had to ask her to stop. I always get massages with hard pressure but it was obvious she was not trained and pressing in the right areas. 3. The masseuse did not wash her hands at all before starting my treatment. Gross from a client perspective. When you spend $250 plus at a spa I’d expect at the very least the spa has standards… 1. To cover my eyes she used a hair mask? So odd 2. The lady at the front desk snapped at my friend multiple times. Regardless of being pregnant you still have to be nice and kind to the client. 3. The whole time during the massage she basically just lightly rubbed my arms. And when she did my back it was one move the whole time. Either she was extremely lazy or had no idea what she was doing. I went with 4 other girls and 3 of the 5 of us had bad experiences. I would really urge the spa leadership to make sure their masseuses are trained.

Wow. This place sets the standard. I’ve only had a handful of massages, and never at an actual spa like this. My wife and I came for our anniversary to get a couples massage, and wow. It’s fancy for some middle class people that don’t do this sort of thing. I can never go back. This was incredible. We loved the entire experience. The sauna, the lounge, the massages themselves…. Fantastic. We will be coming back for our next getaway!

Such an incredible experience. I was greeted and shown to the locker room by 2 smiling faces. The front desk and spa attendants were very helpful. Kelly the manager was an absolute pleasure. Bonnie gave me an incredible massage and was so kind to prepare a tea for me. The relaxation room was by far the most serene relaxation room in all of Nashville and the spa was the most beautiful spa I've seen yet. The relaxation room also had a beautiful patio to enjoy the city view. I highly recommend visiting for a spa day. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I did a couples massage. I have never had a massage before. All of the workers were nice and the environment was comfortable. The area was so nicely clean and calm. The locker rooms were excellent. There were two showers in the mens area along with a sauna and a separate steam bath. I felt the cost was worth it. I will say the items at the reception desk were expensive. We smelled a candle that smelled great. The smaller version I believe was over 50ish dollars and the larger was around 80 I believe. They were smaller than the three wick bath and bodyworks candles. Needless to say, we did not buy a candle.

I can’t say enough good things about the Bamford Wellness Spa! Their staff, the space, and services/products are all amazing. Special thank you to Juan for my deep tissue massage for my birthday. His level of care for me during the service was much appreciated. Also, shoutout to Lexie and Jacob for their warm welcome in anticipation of my service. Thank you again, Bamford!

Wonderful, and relaxing experience. The showers and relaxation room were both beautiful and well stocked. My 80min B Strong massage with Juan was exactly what I needed after a long day of exploring Nashville and I highly recommend booking with him. The cost is high, but well worth it for the level of service and the atmosphere of the spa.

Excellent couples massage!! We will be coming back to Bamford Wellness Spa when we’re in Nashville again!! Great location, very clean, friendly staff, relaxing experience. 10/10
