Bamboo Beauty & Wellness Spa

My friend and I, from Wisconsin and Minnesota, were looking for a relaxing and affordable spring getaway. We’ve always wanted to try a Korean ASMR head spa treatment, and after seeing so many glowing reviews about Bamboo Beauty & Wellness in Miami, we decided to plan our trip around it — and it did not disappoint! Our experience was absolutely amazing. We were able to have our head spa treatments done together in the same room, which made it even more special. The treatment was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I have blonde, oily, and dry hair, while my friend has black hair with a more typical texture. The staff tailored the products to our individual hair types, which made a noticeable difference. My hair looked brighter and shinier afterward, and my scalp felt deeply cleansed — I didn’t realize how much I needed that! On top of the head spa, we also received an arm and back massage during the treatment — such a nice bonus! The staff’s attention to detail and personalized care made the whole experience even better. I left feeling refreshed and with noticeably healthier hair. It was absolutely worth the trip from the Midwest to Miami, and I can’t recommend this place enough! P.s. The redness in the photos is because I am sunburnt.

This was actually my first time ever getting a massage done, and I will definitely recommend the experience. I booked the Swedish, with hot stones. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and making the apt was quick and easy. Once I arrived a few minutes before my apt, I had no wait time. The masseuse, Nico, was extremely nice and professional during the process, since she knew this was my first massage, she took the time to explain the process and address my concerns before starting the procedure. Since this is inside the Double Tree Hotel, you can take a walk with an amazing view after you finish your massage or grab a bite at one of the casual dining places/restaurants. The massage took about 90 minutes, and I enjoyed every minute of it. They use different techniques depending on your tolerance and where you feel the most discomfort. For example, I spend over 8 hours on the computer daily and my neck, shoulders, back and hands are very stiff, so she focused mainly on those parts to make sure. I left there feeling so relaxed and you can notice the immediate difference . I advise, to refrain from working out for a few days since your muscles can be sore. To be honest, you will feel sore for a few days, especially if you dont get massages often, but in the long run it feels great all the knots gone. I can't wait to go back to get my next massage. I recently visited the ASMR head spa and it was an incredibly relaxing experience! It was the perfect girls day out and I loved that my friend and I could enjoy the treatment together in same room. Visiting from the frozen Midwest, my scalp was extremely dry, but after the session it felt so clean and refreshed! I highly recommend this spa for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate their scalp.

I really like this place. I usually see Josue for my hair. He has done my haircut and 2 blowouts. I like Josue because I find him to be very meticulous. He takes his time and is very detail oriented. I worked in the salon industry for over 25 years so I can tell when someone takes pride in their work. I also like that he is very kind. No attitude, no snobbiness. The salon is really pretty, clean and upscale. Prices are fair. The products are incredible!! I’m a big fan of Moroccan oil products. I also have lash extensions put on by Vicky. Same situation, very professional. I love that she doesn’t make me look like I have tarantula legs on my eyes. She does beautiful work as well.

Johan is excellent. I did Keratin with him and turned out great! He is very detailed oriented and loving 🤍 Highly recommend.

I took my mom here for her birthday to get a nice relaxing massage she had a full body massage massage and a scalp massage . Well she came out sore and that night she couldn’t sleep from the pain . The massage therapist wasn’t consistent with the massage being really rough and careless . She used her forearm to massage her spine which is very dangerous. She is full of bruises and can even sit correctly without pain . She was also rough on her feet causing her pain to walk this is crazy . I took her there because i have seen so many good reviews that i thought she would enjoy a nice relaxing spa day for her birthday. On the other hand she did enjoy her scalp massage but did say that it was nothing like it was promoted. Also the staff was nice . It is sad that this is the review i have to leave because i really wanted to like this place . They need to hire licensed professional massage therapists that knows the body anatomy because massages done wrong can cause a lot of health problems and hurt the business reputation. Needless to say we will not be going back

The folks here reached out to me and offered me service at no cost to try and make for a better experience; I couldn’t do that because I was already heading out of town but I really appreciated that they offered that and they also gave me a refund for my services. So, maybe it was just an off day, but they clearly care enough to try and make it right. —— I wish I had looked more closely at the non-five-star reviews of this place before booking. I really wanted to try a head spa treatment, so that's how/why I found this place. The pictures on Google and on their website make this place seem nicer, cleaner, and more luxe than it is. Looking at the map, I also thought it was in the Double Tree, as in part of the hotel's spa treatments. It is not; it's in a mall/commercial area connected to the hotel. So, given all that, I think I had higher expectations for the place re: atmosphere. level of service, and products used. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great and I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. I spent $190, not including tip on the head spa + facial + reflexology and wish I had just gone to a more upscale spa and spent a little more money to have a better experience while on vacation. If this was a place where I lived, I might come here if I happened to be in the area and just felt like getting a foot massage or something. The head spa was underwhelming and the facial was, like the entire experience, OK, but not great.

I found this spa through ClassPass, and the experience was… interesting. The setup is a bit unusual—when you arrive, they greet you in one place and then take you to another, which honestly felt a little like a massage mafia operation (haha). It definitely had a weird vibe. As for the massage, it wasn’t the most professional I’ve had, but it was decent. Nothing exceptional, but it got the job done. If you’re looking for a super polished, high-end spa experience, this might not be the place. But if you just need a quick, no-frills massage, it’s okay.
