Avanti Day Resort

I have been a client of Avanti Day Resort for over 15 years. My mom and sister are regulars there too! We have enjoyed many facials at the spa and hair/nail appointments over the years we have been coming there. Recently, I attended the Beauty, Bowties and Brilliance event, hosted by Danielle Guralnik, and it was truly exquisite down to every detail! The vendors were outstanding, the place looked gorgeous and decorated and the owners, Luda and Victor Conti were sweet as pie!

Big thank you to Caryn at the Avanti boutique for a wonderful experience today! She was just so lovely to work with and had the most perfect gift that I was looking for. What a gem, go see her if you are looking for a truly special gift!

Avanti is my go to spa. The front desk / concierge is very accomodating and the atmosphere is trendy and fun. The extras like beverages and the shop add to the vibe. My favorite nail technician is Darlene. She is the best. Penny is really great too.

Ok, I gave it a 2 because I personally like their spa, but I had my daughter’s 16th birthday celebration here where the girls had their mani, pedi, and facials done. They were ok with their facials but this was the birthday girls nails! All cut up, bleeding, no top coat, no shape, no balance, no nothing. She was so incredibly upset. Not only that we had to stay for an additional almost 2 hours for them to somehow salvage it. They were filed into a proper shape by another person but this ruined my plans for the whole day! The nails were done by the owner if you can imagine! They were supposed to go shopping after and enjoy themselves but all she wanted to do after these horrific nails is go home from mental and physical exhaustion. We ended up convincing her to go to the mall an hour or two later and she didnt buy anything :/ They refunded for the horrific 105$ and when I asked for a discount for ruining my daughter’s birthday they offered 20$!! After spending over $800! Never ever throw a girls party here. I just don’t understand how booking a reservation 2 months in advance they could be so disorganized! One of the girls wasn’t even taken till 40 min AFTER the start of the reservation! And the birthday girls nails were completed while she was getting an FACIAL!!! Can you imagine? Nails done while supposedly relaxing and getting a facial in the dim lighting. Again no discount! Overall, for them and for my husband and I this was exceptionally upsetting! We wanted them to have an incredible time, get pampered, get nice facials and enjoy their nails and show it off. Never again and wouldn’t recommend to a soul. Again maybe their spa (facial) because their spa is decent.

I love this spa! Bianca is absolutely amazing and super personable. She is an exceptional stylist. My commute to the salon is an hour each way, and totally worth it!

i used my mothers day card for a spa day I had a great day. Massage facial Manicure and pedicure and blowdry . Everyone that worked on me was really nice. Will go again

My friend and I were gifted $500 to this very “exclusive” day spa. We were super excited to take advantage, and scheduled 80 minute therapeutic “couples” massages. We were given a quote of $350 for both massages, and we also did 45 minutes in the salt cave. My friend’s locker broke, so she could not retrieve her items, which was the first thing that happened. Her massage was good enough. Mine was meh. The massage therapist working on me was chewing gum, not obnoxiously, but enough so that it detracted from the experience. I did not love her style of massage either… not her fault. After our massages we were waiting in the “Tranquility” room, where the door to the front of the spa was playing very loud almost house music which definitely was distracting. We were able to close the door as we were the only ones there. We had to chase down the attendant because we wanted the mimosas and the cappuccinos that were part of the experience. When we went to pay, we were bowled over to find that the price was $477 when we had anticipated $390 according to the person with whom we booked. $350 for the massages and $40 for the salt cave. They went and listened to the recorded conversation of our booking and heard that we were indeed quoted $350 even though we made it exceedingly clear that we wanted 80 minute massages not 50 minutes. No one wanted to own the mistake and the even the owner said too bad. Is it that we aren’t the “typical” clientele that frequents a spa like this? All I know is that if your scheduler makes a mistake, it should not be the customer’s problem. People make mistakes. But what happened to the customer is always right? Surely at the prices they charge, they could suck it up, admit a mistake, and do right by the customer. Not the case. I think it goes without saying that we will never go to Avanti again, and we will also spread the word to everyone we know… in person as well as on social media. It’s so sad that such an exclusive place continues to have this reputation if this is how they treat the customers. Like I said, perhaps we just aren’t the same type if client that frequents Avanti but our money spends the same way as everyone else’s. This was not a good experience and I just wanted to let people know to check and double check your booking because even if they make a mistake, they won’t take responsibility for it and you will be screwed out of your hard-earned money.

I Absolutely love Avanti Day Resort. I've made this my favorite Spa! They treat you like a queen here. Each time I book an appointment for myself or others. I had the pleasure of bringing my daughters for a Birthday Celebration. I highly recommend you book a special treatment and facial.
