I had an amazing first experience! 🌟 The scalp therapy was incredible, and the quick shoulder massage was so relaxing. The entire visit was great, from the treatments to the welcoming environment 🙏🏼 Everyone working there was super friendly, especially Sissi, who made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

I tried this ‘Japanese head spa,’ which, like other reviewers mentioned, is actually Chinese-run (not that it matters, but worth noting). The setup has curtain dividers, so privacy is non-existent—especially if you’re seated near the check-in desk, where you’ll overhear every conversation. They did a quick scalp scan and explained the basics, but didn’t go over the products they’d be using—which I wish they had, since my scalp’s now itchier and flakier than ever. When it was time to dry, they asked if I wanted to leave it curly (damp), but I requested a dry finish, not a full blowout. They didn’t use heat protectant, and I ended up drying my own hair with their Dyson dryer while the staff struggled to manage it. Great concept, but they need to improve on the basics and quality control.

I had the most rejuvenating experience at AnJapanese Spa! The services provided truly have healing properties that left me feeling refreshed and invigorated. The serene ambiance and skilled therapists created an oasis of relaxation that truly makes it a gem. What truly sets this spa apart is the wonderful staff and exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of perfect. The attention to detail and care provided during my treatments were exceptional. The therapists are not just skilled but also incredibly knowledgeable. I left the spa with a sense of balance and well-being that has stayed with me long after my visit after. I can't recommend An Japanese Spa enough; and I'll definitely be back ! My three friends and I booked this a few weeks ago and after much anticipation finally headed to Quincy to visit this salon. This treatment was so much better than I had hoped! They could take us two at a time, so one pair visited the shops while the received the treatment. We got to observe each other's scalp analysis, then headed into the treatment space. We wore jeans, but leggings might have been more comfortable, as the sink is also a massage chair (arms, back, glutes, and calves), which was glorious. Two friends got the 70 minute Classic Detox head therapy which also included face cleaning, eye and face masks, herbal rinse and steam. My other friend and I had the 100 minute Deep Cleansing Scalp Detoxification, which added on face and head gua sha and longer head and shoulder massage. Everyone loved their treatments! It was so relaxing and we all want to go back regularly. This spa also offers massage and has individual and couples options. There is a discount for cash payment and plenty of food options nearby. The staff was wonderful, and there are some drinks and snacks provided. I cannot recommend An Japanese Spa highly enough.

Phenomenal and the most relaxing spa experience I've had! I will 100% be coming back and bringing friends. I just did the Basic Shampoo but I can't wait to try the Detox and Deep Clean. If you want to feel truly pampered this is the perfect experience <3

My friend and I went to the A Japanese spa and let me tell you it was nothing but amazing! I did the 100 minute scalp detox, from the head massage to the shoulder and neck massage everything was great ! The spa is super clean and cute and the staff was so nice and professional! Would 10000% go back and would recommend to anybody!

I had the classic detox head therapy today and it was great. So relaxing and would definitely go back again. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about doing it. The staff was very nice as well. Very interesting to see your hair follicles on the screen.

I came with my boyfriend and we both had massages and scalp treatments services. We a 1 hour scalp treatment with massage. It was so relaxing. They did a scalp analyzation with a camera which was so cool. I could see the buildup on my scalp. There’s a waterfall head piece and they steamed my hair! They did not neglect the skin of my face either, it felt so soft after. Also my scalp never felt more clean! (By the way they do dry the hair afterwards so you don’t leave with your head soaking wet) I also had a full body massage which was deep but good. I highly recommend getting both done. It’s such a nice self care relaxing way to spend the day. 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you to all the ladies who took care of us. I highly recommend & I will be returning with my mom and friends.
