Who knew that I could feel so relaxed in just 30 quick minutes? The time may have flown by, but the tranquility, relaxation, and positive energy I experienced, left a lasting impression. Before I arrived at Amethyst, I knew that I would be in great hands with Shelley. I emailed her in advance to ask a few questions about the experience. I’ve had neck and nerve issues from traditional hair washes in a bowl at a salon, so I wanted to make sure this would be safe for me. Shelley responded promptly and made me feel completely at ease. This would not be a traditional salon experience! Shelley greeted me as soon as I walked into the salon (Amethyst Headspa is located inside Concept Salon) and walked me back to her Oasis. The room had dim purple lighting which immediately transported me from “real life” to a gorgeous pamper studio. She thoroughly explained what to expect and gave me ample time to get ready. I received the Rock’NRoll rejuvenating Headspa treatment which included a hair wash (shampoo and conditioner tailored to my dry and curly hair), scalp and shoulder massage, and a quick blow dry. Shelley made sure I was comfortable and perfectly positioned on the headrest. She then gave me a warm eye mask and encouraged me to just let go and relax. She gently took my hair in her hands and placed it in the water. The water halo (the glowing bowl in the pictures) sprinkled water and gently tickled my scalp, while Shelley’s well trained hands massaged my head, neck, and shoulders. Within seconds, all of the tension, stress, and the headache I walked in with, just washed away. The trickling sound of water, the soothing music, and Shelley’s calming energy made for the most relaxing experience! As a licensed cosmetologist, Shelley offers a variety of treatments tailored to your needs. During longer treatments she uses a variety of tools for a multi-sensory experience. Whether you book for 30 minutes or an hour and a half, you will leave relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated.

I got this as a Christmas present and it did not disappoint! Shelley was so nice and had taken such care to make this a truly pampering experience. She was so friendly and you can tell she loves what she does. I will definitely be back!

Shelley is amazing, very professional, welcoming, and very good at what she does. I felt calm and relaxed all day long after just 30 min treatment! I cannot wait to go back for a longer one. I have never felt so relaxed in my life! Shelley has such a great energy. She welcomed me and explained the whole process from start to finish so I could relax completely. The space felt so inviting and comfortable. I booked the Oh My Geode package and every part of it felt so luxuriously pampering … I even dozed off a few times. My skin felt so moisturized from the massage and facial, and my scalp is so clean and balanced! Shelley finished my session by brushing out my hair and even had curl-friendly products. I will absolutely book again, and I’m booking a session for my husband, too. Other logistic notes: Amethyst Headspa is inside Concept Salon and there’s plenty of parking. Shelley has her own room in the back of the salon.

I am still sitting here basking in the glow of relaxation. Shelley was amazing explaining everything before proceeding. I am not a fan of a massage with touching certain areas but this was EXACTLY what I DO like with massaging areas that I’m comfortable with and which are head/neck where I carry the majority of my stress. Relaxing atmosphere and smelled beautiful yet not overpowering. I’m already looking for buying gift certificates for loved ones! **I missed seeing it the first time driving by as it’s inside of a salon. Look for the sign on the sidewalk.

Shelly is amazing! She walked me through what to expect before the service. The head spa experience combined with the massage and facial was so relaxing and refreshing! Who doesn’t enjoy someone massaging your head and pampering you? The products were also just what I needed. Thank you Shelly!

I was given the oh My Geode service for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The facilities are spotless, quiet and warm and inviting. I have a difficult time relaxing but not here! The service was phenomenal. The hair massage was unbelievable and the neck massage was perfect. The hydrotherapy was so relaxing. This is a perfect way to treat yourself to a wonderful 90 minutes.

The MOST relaxing treat-yourself appointment you’ll make! Shelley is fantastic and very professional. She started out by explaining everything she was going to do and making sure you are comfortable. I also received a facial with my service and that was also 10/10. My skin feels so smooth. I will be back on a routine basis!
