Best 5 hours of my day. This was a very nice Nordic spa. There were several large and small saunas, cold and hot pools (the 2 steam rooms were down when I was there). There is a ‘finish’ sauna and a ‘signature’ sauna that are quite large but able to get up to the 170 degrees. The signature sauna is lined to salt rock. Outside of each of the big saunas and steam rooms are cold pools of varying temps and depths. There are also multiple hot tubs. Then there is a little Forrest walk in the back that has smaller more private hot tubs and saunas. No phones allowed. Bring a water bottle (not metal) there are plenty of fill stations. Also amazing restaurants inside. It was a cold windy and rainy day - which is the PERFECT day for a Nordic spa.
Recommendations: They asked several times if I had been before and I said no, but they gave no map/tour/ or information. I spent the first 10 minutes walking around trying to understand what was available. Also on this windy day there were a lot of pine needles and things in the pools would have been good to clean them up more frequently.

I went for the second time with my husband today. We did the twilight soak which was nice because it wasn’t as crowded as the first time we went, but honestly it was super disappointing this time and last time. It’s so expensive and not really worth the expense for what you get. I guess we’re gluttons for punishment. Several of the barrel hot tubs on the Forrest walk were broken both times. The steam rooms were down both times. And this time they closed the signature sauna for maintenance during operating hours. Which we actually went today because that was my absolute favorite thing there the first time we went. I was so excited to use that sauna and it was closed. I was so sad. We drove over 2.5 hours one way for the one thing I wanted to do to be closed. To top it off during our most recent trip the the Nordic spa we were told by staff that they close at 9 on three separate occasions once when we arrived at 6 once at 8 and once again at 8:30 while we were literally getting ready to head to the locker rooms to get ready to go. It really took away from the “peaceful experience” it was just frustrating. And the icing on the cake which I have pictures of was how gross the locker rooms were. Over $100 per person for this was kinda ridiculous. If everything was running and working as it should, was a little less expensive, and the shower rooms were cleaner it would be super super awesome.

There are no pictures allowed in the spa area and phones are prohibited in use. I have a ton to say about this spa, the staff is extremely friendly and the spa was incredible. They had multiple spas outside, from personal little baths to public baths with different temperatures. They had extremely hot baths, to freezing cold. They had a steamy sauna in the shape of a barrel. They had personal lockers to store all items in, a fluffy robe to walk around and slippers. At the end of your spa experience you can grab a small container of luxury bath salts and finish off with a shower which leaves you will smooth skin. This spa was attached to a huge resort. There was plenty of parking a little walk away from the resort itself. I definitely would visit again, this spot would be the perfect place for a peaceful honey moon!

A must visit. A surprising favorite part was the rotating teas and infused water each day. We bought tea to bring home we loved it so much. The variety of pools, saunas, and temperatures is top notch. It’s so nice to have your own little hot tub or sauna for your small party (when they are not jam packed- it definitely gets busy and the main largest pools can be almost shoulder to shoulder). Highly reccomend getting food there also- the blueberry brie grilled cheese is to die for!

Very disappointed with our experience. I was so excited to take my husband here for an intimate and relaxing experience at a luxury spa but ended up in what I can only describe as an over crowded public pool. We were packed in there like sardines. Over half of the forest loop hot tubs were broken and cold. Every place we went was so crowded you could even sit down. The waters were all pretty dirty. Again, due to overcrowding the facility, there was no room to sit at the restaurant/bar. You cannot just walk up to the bar and order, you have “sit and we will come to you”. After 20 minutes of waiting we finally had someone take our order. The evening hours had a little less people but we were over it by then. I feel ripped off and that I wasted my time and money. The hot tub at the resort is nicer than the “luxury” spa. Packing it full of people takes the luxury and intimacy out of the experience. Alyeska should update the photos on their website to show the shoulder to shoulder experience you will actually be having. No wonder they do not want you taking your phone out there or take pictures- It would deter others from coming. The apple and Brie quesadilla was really good and the butterfly margaritas were awesome. If I were a glutton for punishment and ever went back, it would be a twilight soak.

Beautiful setting and facilities! No phones allowed outside the locker rooms. I suggest going early as it got busy after 1 pm. We stayed for 5 hours soaking in the different hot tubs, detoxifying in steam rooms and saunas and exfoliating in the Exfoliation cabin. We ate in the Bistro which was very good despite small menu. Finally we ended the day with an awesome Nordic couples 60 minute massage. It rained the whole day and made for a magical experience so don't let that deter you. Would definitely return maybe when it snows! Thanks Alyeska!

Been a few times now, great experience. Although, they used to vary the temperatures of the saunas and spas but not so much anymore. Huge bummer... the rainforest/steam room is PERFECT, if it's running. They should compensate during construction and at the time of out-of-order main features.

It’s easy to find, up the tram stairs, and across a board walk. We showed up at 2pm, had a 3:30 massage, and stayed past 7. Expect to stay on site for the full time. You are not allowed to leave. They have wrist bands that open lockers so bring things.
We wish we brought clothes to head out after, we were staying at the hotel and walked over in swimming attire. This was a mistake as when we left we had to wear our cold wet clothes. They do not have any place to dry swim gear. They do have fantastic showers and all the amenities to take a shower and get ready after. (Hair dryers / curlers / gel / lotion)
The hot, cold, relax routine was amazing! Highly recommend not being a chicken and going shoulder deep (or through the water falls) in the cold pools and holding for max healing effect. You literally paid for the experience so get it!!
The massage really made the experience extra amazing but would recommend this place without a massage as well. The bistro was delicious, had fun healthy options, and all the drink choices.
