Hilal is a fantastic colorist and has impressive knowledge. She does the most amazing job making my hair so natural appearing yet dimensional and blending my grays so it grow out perfectly. Prices at Alo are incredibly fair for the high quality supplies and relaxing salon experience.

Went today for their love event and left pretty disappointed. Contacted them via instagram for an appointment for a tiny tattoo. They told me they were booked for appointments but had plenty of time for walk ins. When we got there it seemed very unorganized. The girl at the desk didn’t seem to have a clue what she was doing. She asked the artist if they could do a walk in and they said no. I asked if we could wait around or come back and she said she didn’t know. Actually asked two separate girls at the desk. Neither really knew what to say. Spoke to the artist and he was apologetic that they had no room for walk ins. Was disappointing because they advertised all over their instagram that they had plenty of time for walk ins. So?? I don’t think they communicated with the tattoo artists at all. Planned our whole day around this event. Left feeling really disappointed. The whole thing was just awkward and uncomfortable. The tattoo artists were super nice. Hopefully they coordinate their next event better although I would never waste my time again.

Absolutely loved my experiences at ALO and would not go anywhere else in DE for a blow out. The scalp spa was also heavenly and I wish I could get a treatment every week. I moved away and have missed it ever since I left.

Loved my experience today getting the Alo Equinox head spa treatment + blowout with Madi! She was excellent—attentive and very knowledgeable. My hair looked phenomenal after the blowout and is so so soft. If you want a quieter experience and can get in early, no one was there for the majority of my 8 am appointment!

Easily one of the best experiences I have ever had! It was more than just a simple scalp treatment or headspa. The staff is amazing and so kind. Madi was my stylist and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL! She was so thoughtful and kind, gave me so much hair advice, was very informed, answered all of my questions and was so helpful with what I should do moving forward! With having curly hair, I was nervous but the second I walked in I felt so comfortable, the place itself was so relaxing and therapeutic and they blew me away and exceeded all of my expectations with my service!! My hair has never felt this soft before, I did the alo equinox. I feel so refreshed and renewed, cannot wait to come back again!!

as someone who is notoriously picky about blow outs - i am blown away! i saw Jessica C. she was super nice, and incredibly talented! i just had surgery last week. she was patient and kind with movements. i have long, thick hair no one can ever get fully dry. Jess got the job done, in a quick amount of time, and i even trusted her to add some beach waves in which she executed perfectly. all in all 5/5 stars, and i will definitely be returning.

My head spa Technician Madi is the sweetest ever. She's caring and very informative. My hair has did a transformation with the great products. I love you and she will always get my business. Ask for Madi, she knows how to do all hair types as well.

I came in with my mom and we both received a 60 min head spa treatment. my mom had Madi and I had Alicia. overall the head spa experience was very relaxing and I enjoyed it! a scalp massage is the best thing ever. my hair is super shiny and feels very clean after the service! I received a blow out by Leslie after the treatment and she did a fabulous job. the only reason I’m docking a star is because I did not receive a hand/arm massage with my treatment, which I read was included. something to consider before you book: the area where you receive the head spa treatment and the area where clients get blow dried are in the same room so you will hear chatter and blow dryers. I do wish the head spa was done in a private room where it is quieter.
