GAIA Head Spa

One word…luxurious. Upon entering the environment is calming. The staff is friendly, the music is very zen and the space is aromatic in a subtle way. The space is intentional and wonderfully aesthetic. This appointment was a little gift for my boyfriend so I did not actually get the treatment. We specifically chose this location because they do the microscope analysis before going into your scalp facial. When we entered we got right into it. His scalp was examined and it was so interesting to see it so magnified and also impressive to listen to the specialist evaluate the scalp and choose a specific treatment to remedy his scalp situation. While that was happening he was given an apple cider vinegar shot. It’s a very small and intimate space but definitely not a space you will feel crowded. It almost felt like a private experience even though there was another client. He said that it was very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He did get a little warm because the bed was heated and he was under a soft blanket. Don’t be afraid to let the specialist know if you need the temperature adjusted. I also suggest wearing loose comfy clothes because they will massage you up to your shoulders and down your arms. Wear something that is easy to take on and off. I got to observe a chunk of the facial and the specialist really took care in her movements and was very thorough. I believe her name was Josie. There was a short moment where he was abruptly taken out of the relaxation trance because the water got too hot. All to say, don’t ever feel like you can’t speak up to adjust. After I left him to enjoy the rest of his treatment, I headed downstairs to their tea lounge. It is such a thoughtful touch to the whole experience. The couch is very cozy and there is complimentary tea and hot coco. Very easy to lose track of time down there. The blow dry room is also located downstairs next to the tea lounge. Since my boyfriend has short hair and normally doesn’t dry his hair anyways, we did not use this amenity. He already can’t wait to go back and add it to his routine. I know I will definitely be going with him next time for myself.

Most amazing experience! It is much more relaxing than a body massage and you can see the results in the scalp analysis before and after! Highly recommend, I will be back! Josie and Kristal were incredible!

This was literally the best experience ever! I was on vacation from New York and it was the best part of my whole vacation. Kristal was amazing! Her hands are magical wow wow wow. I felt so relaxed everything was so beautiful and my hair still feels so silky smooth days later. I would love to make this a monthly visit it was honestly a game changer. Thank you so much Kristal!

The space is absolutely gorgeous—everything is so well thought out and inviting. They greeted me with a welcome drink (such a cute touch!) and offered hot cocoa or tea, which made me feel so cozy right away. My provider, Manuela, was so attentive and took the time to explain the whole process, which helped me fully relax and enjoy every single moment. I felt like I didn’t have to think about a thing, and I could just let go. And oh my gosh, the blow-drying station with the Shark FlexStyle Pro? OBSESSED. It was such a fun bonus that made the whole experience feel even more luxurious. I’m giving this place a solid 100/10. I’ll definitely be back and am already telling all my friends to book an appointment. If you’re looking for an incredible self-care experience, this is it! Trust me, babes, you’ll be obsessed.

GAIA Head Spa is a must visit when you’re looking for all around relaxation while maintaining a healthy scalp. This was the first head spa I’ve been to and as a curly girl, my immediate thought was, “I need to add this treatment to my self care list!” Their treatments are done by professionals and include a comprehensive scalp analysis, deep cleansing of your scalp, steam and halo therapy, exfoliation, and a soothing massage. There is also a lounge area for further relaxation and a blow drying station to use after your treatment. If you’ve ever wanted to take better care of your scalp, this is the perfect place to start or to add to your existing regimen.

I had an incredible experience at GAIA Head Spa! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional, and the facilities were impeccably clean. I was initially a bit nervous, as not everyone is experienced with 4C hair, but Manuela was absolutely amazing. She handled my hair with expertise and care, immediately putting me at ease. I opted for the Signature Scalp Facial, which included a wonderful scalp treatment, a mini hydrating facial, and a relaxing neck, shoulder, and arm massage. I also tried the Honey Dip Delight upgrade—while it was nice, I think I would rather upgrade my spa treatment next time. Overall, this experience was worth every penny. I highly, highly recommend GAIA Head Spa. It was worth every penny and I will definitely be returning!

We just had the most amazing experience at Gaia Head Spa. The experience was for both my mom and I, we walked in to this gorgeous space and were greeted with a delicious drink, and received a scalp evaluation. I have been looking forward to trying this viral head spa experience and I am so glad I waited to find the right place! Our scalp treatment began and we were pampered with the most amazing hair products/masks/aromatherapy products. Our session included deep washing/cleaning, brushing of scalp/hair and massaging of neck, chest and arms. Our treatment was absolutely perfect and we felt the treatment was executed with the utmost care and fine attention to every detail. We were able to use the drying station after reviewing our scalp and seeing the amazing results after. We felt like royalty. I cannot wait to return for my next treatment! Hopefully mom remembers most of it because she was so relaxed that she took a slight nap! Mission accomplished! Kudos Gaia Team, you are all superstars!

BEST experience ever! Hands down amazing. I got all the head tingles and felt super relaxed afterwards. My scalp felt so clean and my hair so soft. Kristal was amazing. I did this with a friend and we had so much fun. Afterwards they have a dry bar area with Shark blow dryers you can use. Never tried one of those but now I want one! Walked out of there with a salon blowout feeling so wonderful!!
